Who We Are
Dusty and Jaci White have been married since 2000. Dusty is from Omaha, Nebraska. Jaci is from Eastern Montana. They collided together at a small college in Minnesota and Dusty was literally speechless when he first saw her. After spending 5 years in college ministry in both the Midwest and in the San Francisco Bay Area they have given their focus to marriage, parenting, and soul care. They serve Coram Deo Church in Omaha – where they’ve been for over 15 years. Dusty leads a team of Care and Counseling specialists and Jaci disciples and trains women.
They have six kids. Three boys and three girls…every other in gender…just like they planned it. (And recently they welcomed the addition of their new daughter-in-law!)
There are no experts in parenting but like their marriage ministry efforts, they offer both biblical and practical tools to parents who are building the parenting airplane in the air.
Dusty is a first generation Christian and is passionate about creating a spiritual heritage from scratch. Jaci brings the wisdom and grit of a farmer’s daughter from a small town and a Christian foundation. Throughout 25+ years of marriage and ministry together they’ve had their share of personal suffering and blessing.
What We Believe
We believe that God put us on Earth to enjoy Him and glorify Him. We also believe that we enjoy and glorify him through mature relationships. Since God created men and women in his image, we believe that our worship is either hindered or enhanced based on the quality of our relationships. We believe that the Good News of Jesus Christ gently meets us right where we are at and grants us grace and offers us relationship with God. That is crazy! We believe that, through faith, our sin is wiped out in the forgiveness of Jesus on the cross and the grace and mercy of God grants us hope in the resurrection of Jesus. We believe that the Spirit of God can change us. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world. In summary, we believe that: we’re always changing, we’re always in relationship, and we’re always in need of God’s faithfulness. When it comes to marriage we believe men should lay down their lives and selfishness to sacrificially serve their wives. When it comes to parenting we believe that both mom and dad need to show up and be present. Certain values should be in place in every household but parenting is less about rules and more about intentional rhythms, habits, and relationships – all with Christian orthodoxy at the center.
If you are one of those “theological deep dive” types and want to know more on what we believe, you should know that we believe in the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and do our best to live according to The Gospel Coalition doctrinal statement.
